Cholangio Heroes - Christine Sgambato on A MATTer of Hope

A MATTer of Hope is a community of cholangiocarcinoma and rare cancer advocates, committed to fundraising, campaigning, and calling attention to a very fatal, often overlooked, and clinically misunderstood cancer. The organization was founded by Christine Sgambato in honor of her husband, Matt Sgambato, who passed away from cholangiocarcinoma. She explains how her nonprofit "creates fun events and contests, that bring our community together, drawing from our inspiration" with proceeds going to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
